One question that I am often asked is “what should I be looking for when buying a baby crib?” It is difficult to give a complete answer to this because there are so many factors involved. In fact I think it is easier to look at things the other way around. I tell them the name of the crib that I think provides everything that you need in a crib and provides the best value for money.

The Perfect Crib for Safety Minded Parents
Graco have designed this crib with safety in mind. In spite of its light weight, it is a very sturdy crib that features stationary side rails in order to provide the safest possible sleeping environment for your baby. The mattress platform can be adjusted to 3 separate heights so that you can lower the height of the platform as your baby grows.
As with all Graco cribs, the Sarah Classic is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association – visit JPMA. There are no drop sides to worry about. The standard Graco mattress fits perfectly inside, leaving no gaps round the edges.
Put Together in 20 Minutes
It will take two people no more than 20 minutes to assemble. It can be done by one person but I would recommend having an extra person to hold the larger parts while you put them together. The only tool required it the Allen Key that is supplied with the crib. Once it is put together you will be surprised at how sturdy it is.
Value for Money
Some parents might be a bit worried about the quality of this crib when they compare the cost of the Graco Sarah crib versus some of the more expensive models on the market. This crib does not feel cheap in any way. Its light weight is an advantage for when you want to move it but it in no way makes it feel rickety or unstable. It is much more manageable than the hardwood cribs, which are very inconvenient when you want to move them.
